Keeper of My Brothers

When the Nazis come for his family, young Benjamin is torn from everything he has ever known and thrust into the brutal reality of a concentration camp. Stripped of his name, his home, and nearly his hope, he survives on courage, friendship, and the faint memory of a world that once felt safe.

In the camp, hunger becomes constant, fear becomes ordinary, and childhood disappears. Yet amid the grayness, Benjamin discovers unexpected strength—and an unbreakable bond with another boy determined to endure.

Liberation brings more than freedom. Rescued by an American soldier who believes that “we are our brother’s keeper,” Benjamin begins the difficult journey of reclaiming identity, faith, and the possibility of a future.
